Jenna Lanzaro (she/her) is a writer and teacher based in Jersey City. She received her MFA in Poetry as a Writers in the Public Schools Fellow from NYU, where she also served as Interviews Editor of Washington Square Review. A 2023 Discovery Poetry Prize Winner, her work has also been honorably mentioned for the 2023 Bechtel Prize for innovation in teaching Creative Writing, nominated for a Best of the Net Award, and recognized by Small Orange Journal's Emerging Woman Poet Honor. Jenna is currently working on her debut poetry collection and a novel while teaching middle school Creative Writing.
